L'azithromycine est indiqu e dans les infections suivantes, lorsqu'elles sont dues des micro-organismes sensibles: · infections des voies respiratoires inf rieures: exacerbations aigu s de bronchite chronique, pneumonies communautaires de gravit l g re mod r e, dues des pneumocoques, Haemophilus influenzae ou Moraxella catarrhalis et pouvant tre trait es par voie orale. · infections des voies respiratoires sup rieures y compris les sinusites, amygdalites et pharyngites (la p nicilline est habituellement le m dicament de choix pour le traitement d'une pharyngite Streptococcus pyogenes , pr vention du rhumatisme articulaire aigu comprise). L'azithromycine est g n ralement efficace contre les streptocoques se trouvant dans l'oropharynx, mais il n'existe actuellement aucune tude tablissant l'efficacit de l'azithromycine dans la pr vention ult rieure du rhumatisme articulaire aigu. · otites moyennes. · infections de la peau et des plaies. · ur trites et cervicites non gonococciques, dues Chlamydia trachomatis . Toute infection concomitante par gonocoques ou Treponema pallidum doit tre exclue, ces germes n' tant pas sensibles.

Excipients Zithromax 100 mg, poudre pour suspension buvable en sachet: saccharum 1.9356 g, trinatrii phosphas anhydricus, hydroxypropylcellulosum, xanthani gummi; aromatica: aroma cerasi artificiale (contient alcohol benzylicus, natrium), aroma vanillae artificiale (contient glucosum, ethanolum, natrium, propylenglycolum [E 1520], sulfuris dioxidum [E 220]), aroma bananae artificiale (contient propylenglycolum [E 1520], alcohol benzylicus, natrium). 1 sachet 100 mg contient 1.9356 g de sucre, 3.7 mg de sodium, 14.0 mg de glucose, 0.008 mg d' thanol, 0.000175 mg d'alcool benzylique et 0.00015 mg d'anhydride sulfureux (E 220).
